shameless exploitation by an airline for free publicity, over a missing cat

About two months ago, Emily a tabby from Stapleton, Wisconsin went missing. Apparently she went exploring at a nearby paper company warehouse and ended up in Nancy, France via Chicago and Belgium (a 3 week trip).

Thankfully she was wearing a collar and her vet was contacted.

Last week Emily flew home from Paris via Newark in the BusinessFirst cabin of Continental Airlines. The airline even provided an escort (an employee). Then from Newark to Milwaukee.

Of course, the airline shamelessly milked the story for all it was worth. Obviously they alerted the media.

Silly silly cat. BusinessFirst on Continental does not have fully reclining seats which turn into a flat bed. She should have refused the first offer from Continental and flown via Singapore or Bangkok, then Sydney to LA on Qantas where they do have fully reclining seats/beds in Business Class. Better still, in First Class.

........ooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooo........

I spent most of the day on my mat on my deck/porch, then had a nap on my daybed. My human left very early today for work, but thankfully came back earlier too.

My tummy isn't so well today and messing up my fur, so my human is making me a chicken and potato broth.

Hrm, maybe there's some kind of kitty stomach flu going around -- my kitty, Stinky, seemed like his tummy was bothering him the other day -- he seemed lethargic and wasn't eating much. Fortunately, he seems like he's much better now!
