new paintings now on the wall
The paintings that my human bought from Darwin came back from the framer (frame-maker?) on Thursday. They are on the wall now and impressing viewers.
Sonda Turner Nampiijinpa (born 1956) 'Bushfire Dreaming - Watyi-Wannu' (acrylic on canvas)
Andrew Marrgululu Wanambi (born 1959) 'Bunda' - billabong scene at Gatji Waterhole (acrylic on canvas)
And a linocut bought from the framer

Which one is your favourite Keiser?
I love Australian indigenous/aboriginal art, especially the dot paintings.
But I have never seen a real live goanna, snake or turtle. I am familiar with magpies.
I like the magpies linocut, but the birds are strangely silent!
