Happy Bastille Day
Today is Bastille Day. Woohoo!
When my human was last in Paris back in 2000, he stayed near the St-Paul and Bastille area in the Marais district. Those two are also Metro stops on line number 1. Bastille is also on line numbers 5 and 8.
My human actually thought he'd find the actual Bastille prison. What a doofus! Even I could have told him that the actual Bastille had been destroyed.
*As always, please check out Cooper and Camilla who always have interesting things to say.
.........ooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooo..........
I had another boring day today, and looked forward to my human coming home from work. When he did, after my dinner time, my old dear carer Kylie also came over. I had not seen her for a few years. In between her last visit, she had two babies and had gotten married. She didn't stay very long but I meowed loud greetings to her.
Tonight I had a lot of my cold cooked chicken for dinner. My human cooked up garfish for dinner and when he sat down to eat, he kindly shared some of his fish with me (I was on the floor alas, with my human passing morsels into my bowl).
Our Bastille Day dinner will actually be on tomorrow. I think my human is making his usual coq au vin.
