FINAL POST

This is Keiser's human.

Sadly, around 11.30pm Keiser suffered a seizure which was related to tumours rupturing causing internal bleeding. She went into shock. She could hardly move and started panting.

At around 12.50am, after the vet had made the diagnosis using ultrasound she decided that Keiser was not going to recover and helped her to go to sleep and cross over.

I am going to miss Keiser so very much. You were a brave and loving cat.

Rest in Peace my angel

(There will be no more entries to her blog)

Oh, my dear, sweet Keiser. I will miss you so much. You were like my 2nd cat sister. I know Camilla was there to greet you with Sir Nick, Cooper and all the others. You were so lucky to have such a loving and caring human to have lived such a full and long life.
Much love forever!

Oh Keiser, I'm so sorry. :((

Your human loved you so much, and I wish I could say something that would help, but I know I can't.

It's a sad day....

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm also sorry that we didn't get a chance to meet her before. Jeter wrote a lovely tribute to his friend so we wanted to give you our sincerest condolences. It is hard to lose a loved one. She'll be waiting for you over the Rainbow Bridge and you'll hold her again.

I recently lost Smith, my baby, very suddenly. I read somewhere on the internet an article about a woman who was grieving the loss of her cat as well. The thing that stood out most in my mind was how she talked about learning to hug her kitty with her heart instead of her arms. This has helped me so much during this trying time. Research for the article or just give it a try. I'll be thinking of you and Keiser.

Keiser was my kitty away from home and helped make Canberra a more loving and friendly place to live. I will dearly miss our Wednesday night cuddles on the couch in front of the tv. I will miss the friendly hellos when I come visit, our chats about Daniel, and the fun we would have when I would come stay over. I hope you are ok Keiser.

I'm very sorry to hear about Keiser and, like many of the other cats posting here today, I would've liked to meet Keiser. I come from a footy family, too. My people are St Kilda and Carlton, so they have not seen as much success as Keiser saw with the Lions in the last decade. I have my own footy team with my kitty friends down here in Tassie, the West Hobart Tigers. We will give Keiser, a fellow footycat, a full tail and whiskers salute at our next pre-season training session. Our purrs are with you!

My dear sweet Keiser.

No words can ever express how much you meant to me. You were the most lovable cat in the world. I will always remember your sweet meow, your beautiful soft fur and your gentle (gurgling!) purr as you snuggled under the doona on a cold Canberra night. You were one in a million and there will never be another cat like you. I will miss you so very much. I take heart in the fact that you are at peace and reunited with Fatty – rest in peace my sweety – I will never forget you.
