Oscars... what about us cats?

Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences gives out awards (Oscars) to humans for their artistic or technical skills; such as acting, directing, music score, special effects etc.

They have completely overlooked the very hardworking cat actors, without whom a film would just not have that special quality.

Take the two red Persians named Pumpkin and Crackerjack who play the part of Crookshanks in the Harry Potter films for example. Without those two, the role of Hermione would just be an incidental one.

How about the Himalayan who played Sassy in the Homeward Bound movies? Now she is really something.

Orangey, the Ginger who played Cat in Breakfast at Tiffany's had a pivotal role. Without him, Holly Golightly would not have had her epiphany.

Join me in sending a message to the Academy to remedy this gross injustice.

........ooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooo........

I do apologise for my lack of an entry yesterday. It was too hot (as today is yet again), and I just wanted to lie on the floor (of wooden floorboards).

I had a mid-afternoon nap on the couch with my human today, which lasted an hour until he claimed it was too hot and he got up. Mind you, he was also watching those appallingly juvenile American Pie movies. His standards are slipping.
